In the society that we live in, there are many almost countless numbers of problems that hinder the proper production to the world that we live in. Many people have come up with many probable solutions that could help society but usually can go through with it because it is too extreme or ill structured, it is not produced. As I research and figured out what could be the three most important or ailment downfalls in today’s society. I found, Education, Religion, and Corruption in politics are, to me, the biggest problems because none of them can allot to one specific group or gender of people, but in fact relates to everyone and the distinct connection between each individual. To basically break down all three, corruption is politics has been an unending cancer that eats away at our judicial and moral systems. It would be too big for one politician to handle by himself. Even if he or she can get support to correct many of the errors in the system, there still would be people who would be out for self-gain and come behind them and corrupt the system again. This problem can not be solved by temporary conclusions or weak minded individuals who are content with their well-being and the well-being of their families and communities but will take someone who has political pull when comes down to changing something that has been set in stone for so long of a time. When it comes down to Religion, there is basically nothing that I, as a simple Sunday school teacher do in a world that has some many different religious systems.

As far as Education goes, we all need it and education needs us. I believe that one teacher can change one student at a time. It is for individuals to change society and if education will have a major impact on the world, then is should start with one. There is a slogan that says: Each One Save One. Meaning that we all have a responsibility to save someone else because someone took the time to save us from a life of disaster. An educator is a person who has been educated in the field of study in which he or she instructs. An educator is a person that is capable of producing and reproducing skill and knowledge to others in order to direct them in a specific path whether good or bad. An educator has the most influence when it comes to impressionable individuals. The students have such a high admiration when it comes to following their instructors. Due to the fact that teachers instruct student when they still understand their lives, means that the fate of the child rests in the hand of the teacher. If the teacher shows negative reaction toward the child often, then the child will show negativity toward others throughout life. Most students who are in college can remember their favorite teacher from either elementary, middle, jr./ sr. high school. The reason that the students remember their teacher is not because they were extremely dedicated teachers, but because the teacher showed positive attention to his or her student and also encouraged them to do their best and be their very best. So to answer the question above, I know that the education problems can be resolved more quickly than corruption in politics or religious crisis. More so the reason that I chose education is because it would be the easy problem for me to identify with because I have seen the inside of a “public” school. It’s not pretty nor it is acceptable to the required standards that regulate the educational body of employees. Every since the third grade at Phyllis Wheatley elementary school on Dumaine St. in the sixth ward, I always wanted to be a teacher. I view teachers as hard working individuals who cared about their students and wanted to see the best come out of them. And that same year, I knew that I want to be a music teacher. The reason is because music, believe or not, has to most influence on people. The reason behind this is that it is the single most outer entity besides the Bible that has direct relations to human emotions.

The Education field is a field that can be improved because there are so many different problems associated with learning. The education field has problems with finances, discipline, academics, and extracurricular activities. Many of these problems stem from problems with corruption behind the scenes. The real reason that I feel that Education would be the easiest for me to get involved with is because it is what I always wanted to do. I wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and see a successful music educator who works hard to develop within students a sense of discipline, character, charisma, love, and dedication for themselves, their elder and also their peers. What make is so interesting is that I could have chosen a different profession to go into if I wanted to make a lot more money without a lot of stress, but I chose to try to influence young minds in the paths of education to make the best choice for their lives and careers. Basically, the reason I decided not to give up on them is because someone decided not to give up on me. I believe that if someone could change Adrian, then Adrian can changes someone else.

Are you an education major Adrian? I thought you were a music major. Maybe music education? I think you would be a great teacher.
