Week 6

This blog is to express about how my project relates to what we have been studying in Theo 1120 class. The topic thta I chose relates directly to education in todays society. Education can be corrupt when there is not a structured administration in control. Some specific references that relates to my poject are how Jews had to learn the law and study it because it was part of their upbringing. Just like we that are in today’s society, we must go to school and learn about different subjects in order to conduct ourselves accordingly. In the Biblical times, there were teachers, known as Rabbi, who taught the Jewish Law, known as the Torah, to all Jews. We have instructors who have trained extensively hard to communicate their field of expertise to us. As far as present day administration goes, some are trying to do the right thing, while others are trying to do their thing by exploiting the children and causing injustice on behalf of education. One story comes to mind when I type about Administration; the epic of Gilgamesh. In this story, the earth is ruled by heartless immortals who do what they want when they want and cause caious to come upon the humans whom they are suppose to watch over. In this story, they rule with an iron fist in order to make the humans please them. Basically the exploit the trust and loyality of humans in order to received what they wanted. The gods sat around thinking how to keep the humans in the same perdicament that they were so that the gods could continue to enjoy all the luxury of laziness while the humans busted the butts so the gods would not destroy them. The same is like that in Louisiana’s government. Mr. Bush is enjoying all the luxury of being the President of the United States while the people who voted him in office are watching their children die at war. A war that should not have happened. Also the school system should change from this. To Be Continued.>>>>>>>
