I would like to thank everyone who posted comments on my blogs. These comments are greatly appreciated. I would also like to apologize to everyone for putting my blog up so late. Not everyone was able to comment on my project. However, I only received two comments on my project and these comments came from Sierra Martinez and Shemika Sample. Thanks Sierra and Shemika, you comments were very helpful and I will take them into great consideration. I am writing you today to say thanks on your comments and I will take everything you say into great consideration. I also have received comments from Ashley Bickham. I want to thank you for your comments as well. However, even though I know that you guys have wonderful comments, due to the fact that they were posted late, I am not able to comment on them or even read them at this time. I am a little upset about this because I really genuinely enjoy reading the comments that come from my peers. I pretty much went through the class roster to see if anyone has commented on my project. I did not want to be guilty of leaving anyone out or of not showing good ethics by not at least acknowledging that you guys have made comments. As soon as these comments post, I will try my best to read them and comment back. Like I said, my project is not over after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 01, 2006, my project will continue. If you guys can, I would also like to have some type of feedback later once I have responded back to you guys. It is my opinion that this project will not be a success unless the students here at Xavier support me. I am all open to your suggestions. Also, if any of you guys have not; please looked for the group, “I Got My Mind on My Money and My Money on My Mind” on facebook. This is my group. Read about it and see if you would be willing to give your support. If you are able to support us this will be greatly appreciated.
Since there were so few people who commented on my project, I have also decided to respond to the people who have commented on Ashley’s page about the project. To Dominque Lynch, I would like to say thanks and it is not any doubt in my mind that after Katrina break, I will be jumping at the opportunity to implement this project. Like I have said previously, this is an ongoing project and this project will not just seize following this semester. Ashley and I will continue working on this project until we have enough support to attempt to get this class implemented.
I would also like to respond to the comment of Samantha and others who share the opinion that no one will support this decision. We still have the desire to have the seminar, however, I main focus now is the formulate this semester long course. Just during the very short time that this project has been implemented, I have noticed that the project has had a good response and I believe that many students would love to have this class. Ashley and I are also considering the one seminar and if we do have this seminar, I promise that there will be food. My greatest worry about these comments is that some of you are focusing more on the seminar and not on the class. Like Ashley and I have decided, the seminar is still a very good idea, but it is no longer our priority. I do not believe that many of you have commented on the semester long course. I would love to get feedback about that. So far we have had excellent support and it would be wonderful to see what you guys can suggest. I know how Xavier students are about their food. To everyone who has commented thank you and all of your comments having been taken very seriously. I want to wish you good luck on your various projects.
