My project which is dedicated to the restoration of the Louisiana Wetlands is something that I have so much passion for and dedication towards. I really love my home Louisiana the splendor it has to offer and most of everything in it. It would be too heartbreaking if it continues to go to waste, so I plan to work towards its restoration. What I have done so far has not drastically changed anything, but every little bit counts. If I continue to advocate the restoration of the wetlands I truly believe that more and more people will grow a passion for restoring our homes. Any change or opportunity I have to inform our advocate people of what is occuring in the wetlands and what can be done to help, I take the moment and use it to my advantage. So far I have done an informative speech on the wetlands, helped my cousin do a project on the wetlands and I am putting together a video to spread the word even farther. I have also signed up with Louisiana Coast (lacoast.gov) to do a volunteer project which is hands on. I will be able to go into the wetlands this summer and take part in the restoration. It was really easy to sign up for. To anyone who would like to take part in the volunteering all you have to do is visit the website lacoast.gov and click on the link “projects” this will bring you to a list on local upcoming things that you can sign up for. Many are hands on projects which I prefer, but for other who are not outdoors people there are other ways to volunteer. For example, you can sign up for advocating in which you could go to meeting and discuss what needs to be, you could also put together volunteer opportunities for people like me who would enjoy the outdoors experience. So no matter what kind of person you are there is something you can do to take part in helping restore Louisiana and its beauty. Signing up for the program is my accomplishment for the semester on my project. I have also said I wanted to do so, but this project has motivated me to actually taking the steps to volunteer. I made myself sit down and find background information on the Louisiana Wetlands, and then I made myself find ways in which I could help besides advocating the problem and some solution via video. I changed the world a little by spreading the word when given the opportunity to do and hopeful I put a little passion into the hearts and minds of those who I was able to speak to. (Other organizations such as America’s Wetland are looking for volunteers and accepting donations for those of you would do not have time to dedicate outside of your schedules.)
Jesus was crucified because he posed a threat to the Jews religious leader as he called himself the king of the Jews and had the people realize he was the coming messiah. Jesus called himself king, but it was meant to refer to the Kingdom of God. Jewish religious leaders who were intimidated with Jesus’ influence over the people used this claim and twisted Jesus’ meaning behind it. They Jews religious leaders turned Jesus over to the Roman government and told them that Jesus was claiming to be a earthly king which was the exact opposite of what Jesus was saying. So under Roman law, according to the leaders clam Jesus was guility of rebellion aganist the emperor which was a crime punishable by crucifixion. But before they were allowed to actually crucify Jesus he had to brought in front of Pontius Pilate. At this time Pilate had the opportunity to release Jesus after realizing that he had not committed any crime, but instead he had the people choose between releasing Jesus or a murderer. The Jewish religious leaders chose to have the murderer released and Jesus crucified. Pilate washed his hands clean from the act insisting he had no part in what would occur. Roman soldiers took Jesus to the hill to be crucified and had him carry his cross to his death.
That is the political look behind Jesus’ crucifixion, but it can also be seen in a spirtual view point as well. All that happened from the Jewish religious leaders lies to the actual crucifixion happened as planned by God. Not one time did Jesus agrue against anything that happened, because he knew it was all suppossed to happen. When given the chance to do so in front of Pontius Pilate, he told him that he does not control his fate, but God does so. Jesus knew he was sent to earth to die for the sins of everyone that we may find salvation and enter into the kingdom of God which was in Heaven.Jesus was the saving lamb that allowed anyone who sought God and followed his will for their lives to enter into Heaven. After Jesus crucifixion animal sacrifices were no longer needed in order to be forgiven of sins. Instead you could against for forgiveness by Jesus’ blood for any sin committed and be forgiven./p>

So There was more than just political reasons behind Jesus’ crucifixion, but also spirtual reasons as well. The actions of everyone all fell into line with what God had planned in order for Jesus to die and then ressurected into the Kingdom of God as the slain lamb who was and still is greater than any other sacrifice presented into the Lord. Because of his crucifixion anyone who finds salvation which is turning their lives over fully to God and living the will of God for his or her life, can have the chance to enter the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom of God is not a political kingdom which the Jews had in mind but a spirtual kingdom that is in Heaven.
