The book of Genesis and the Enuma Elish had some similarities and differences. The book of Genesis and The Enuma Elish are creation stories. Both stories tell about the continuation of life. In the book of Genesis, this is the creation of the universe and humans. In the Enuma Elish, it the creation of Babylonia and its gods. In the book of Genesis, there were two human (man and woman) contining life. In the Enuma Elish, there are two types of waters, that are continuing life.
The Tiglath-Pileser principle is the account of a king from Assyria, that conquered all these different people during his reign. This is the king giving his account of how and who he conquered. It is possible and it could not be possible that he actually conquered all these people. Since this is his account of his conquer, he may be adding on to it to make himself look like a strong and good king.
