Week 6
320 words by Ravan Moret
As of right now I am still getting my ideas together on how I am going to present my project to the public. My plan is to have about three different nutritional facts everyday for a week. I plan on printing them on flyers, or somkething of that sort, and posting them and passing them around campus. I am still gathering some information. Most of my information is coming from websites however I have been in touch with a nutritionists who agreed to help me with my project. In my profession I will have to look beyond the surface of things to find answers. Things that may be apparently wrong with people may not always be correct. This class teaches me to look into the details of stories to distinguish whether or not they may be true or actually happened. I plan on going into the medical profession and it that profession you have to ask the patient questions. Just like when using Historical Criticism there are basic questions that you should ask the patient. These questions help you get a better grasp of the problem and makes it easier to diagnose the patient. Feminist Criticism is useful because it helps to verify the actual truth of the story. Clearly among the time the bible was written, women were not highly favored, and the stories were only written by men. It can therefore be inferred that the stories may have been bent a little or a lot to make the women seem worse. Overall I think I did good on the Midterm although I could’ve done better. I did not study things in complete detail as I should’ve. Although I understood the material, rewriting it was more of a challenge than I had imagined. I understood the purpose of the article “Deception for Deception” completely, however, I did not remember enough of what the article said to even summarize it.
