The stories of Enuma Elish and Genesis are similiar to one another because they are both creation stories only one is from a Christian viewpoint and one is a Babylonian viewpoint. In both stories there are six days of creation where various things are being created and all end in the creation of humankind. In Genesis, the creation story is the beginning of the Tanakh and the beginning of Adam and Eve and their descendants. The Enuma Elish is the creation of the gods and the beginning of the powerful god Marduk.
The Tiglath-Pileser principle is a tablet erected of the many accomplishents and victories of Tiglath-Plieser I, the king of Assyria. He conquered many cities and became a respected ruler as well as feared. The Tigler-Plieser principle is a record of all of his victories.
