Biblical prophets relate to my project in the ways of trying to better the people around them. The prophets always had the best interest of the people related to God. Job’s experience relates to New Orleans, because we as a city have had everything taken from us by a storm. In Job’s case it was God who took away all of his possessions. Like Job, a lot of the people in New Orleans even though they have lost everything still have faith in God, and praise him.
Psalm 22 is a parallel to Jesus crying out for God’s help on the cross. I think during this time, we truly know that Jesus is at least part human. He is angry and confused why he is feeling so much pain during his death. Still he finds time to praise God and thank him for what he has done for him.
