It is a terrible shame that people do not want to help the poor. You would think that after having everything taken away from you’d want to help everybody. But that just goes to show you how the world thinks and that it’s a sad place we live in. but other than that it seems as if your project is coming alone well, at least you put it out there and told people. You showed the initiative to help.

Sounds as if your project is going great. It is good that you are making a difference and getting rewarded personally for it. you should definitely keep us posted on the different projects you have going so I could help.

Good luck with your project! I hope it works out. I think it's a great idea and I'm curious about how it will turn out. The homeless do need help, and I hope all goes well!

great ideas. You would be surprised the amount of people who are satisfied with the way things are and unwilling to act on it to make a change. GOod Luck.

Good project. Not many people will take the time to do what you are doing. From the sound of it, it seems like everything is going ok. This really has something to do with theology because your are physically going out to help people who need it and trying to get your community involved. Good luck!!

It's amazing how so many people say they want to do something for the poor but when it actually comes time to do something they don't actually do it. But it good to see that your project coming along well. Just recently I was over on canal street by the bridge on Claiborne and saw so many homeless people living underneath that. It very sad to see that because the whole little strip is full of homeless people. But keep up the work on your project. I wish you the best with it.

I absolutely LOVE your project! Initially, I did have the question in my mind of whether or not people would trust their money with your project, because in all honesty I wouldn't. We hear of new scams everyday. This may be a great factor in the reason why people don't willingly donate anymore. But we just have to trust that God will take care of the situation. Asking for assistance instead of money is an extremely good idea. I am one of the people who walk around with empty pockets, but I am always up for donating my time to benefit others. Your response to implementing your project mirrored my reasons for my project in the beginning. You said that working on it made you feel good inside and I am happy to hear that. I think that if everyone were like you and realized that giving is a selfless act as much as it is selfish then more people would donate their time and money. Giving benefits the giver and the receiver and I'm glad you realize this because it will influence you to continue with your project and help its manifestation. Good Luck!
