In the pictures of Batman and Superman, the world is a dark place, represented by the dim light in the Batman picture and the dark clouds in the Superman picture. My project was an attempt to be the light in the background of the picture. The light symbolizes that there is still hope for a better place, even through the murkiness of life. I wanted to be like Batman and Superman and make a way for the light to shine through and allow hope to be restored. Batman stands in the photo as if he has done all he can for the moment, however, there is still darkness and therefore, still more work to be done to make the world a better place. Superman represents my struggle with one of my projects. Even though the project did not turn out as I wanted, I was able to do what I could. Superman pushing forth through the darkness is my struggle to push forth in my project, even though the darkness was blocking my view. I still struggled, but eventually I was able to spilt the darkness and spread a little light and hope in the world.
