Week 10: First read the blog entries of 10 other people in your section and post detailed comments about their projects. You should at least read their week 3 entry “MY PROJECT” and their week 9 “PROJECT” entry. You should respectfully evaluate their project and give suggestions. Name the 10 people in your blog. How do the biblical prophets relate to your project?

Biblical prophets relate to my project, because we both realize that we can positively influence the world to make it a better place. Just like Elijah was instructed to pass on his duties to Elisha, I plan to pass on my duties to my mentee, so that he will be motivated to help someone else. This way my initial effort to improve society never rests, but lives through the actions of others who I may have helped in the past.
Job’s experience relates to rebuilding New Orleans, because not all of the city is unjust. Only certain people are disturbing the divine will of the Lord. Job was blessed and favored by God, because Job is “an upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil.” Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath are parallel to various tests that Job experienced during the devil’s challenge to the Almighty. Job never cursed God after all that he went through and there are those in the city of New Orleans and the rest of this world that never curse God. In lieu of doing so they humbled themselves and thanked and praised God for his presence in their lives. Just as God restored all that Job lost, he is restoring what the City of New Orleans lost through its constant rebuilding.
Psalms 22 is about a person who is suffering and begging God to have mercy on them. Psalms 22 is a lament that is similar to the cries heard from the son of God when he was nailed to the cross.
