All of the above had more than great topics. A lot of them were making really good progress and I believe they all will do well.
The biblical prophets set out with the mission of trying to get the people to turn to God because they were ignoring him. They just wanted to help the Israelites the best way they could. Israel suffered many severe punishments simply because they refused to listen. That’s just like in today’s society when criminals are caught or diseases are contracted because no one listens anymore. So instead God chooses to punish them. Israel’s most devastating punishment came in 586 B.C.E when they were exiled.
The biblical prophets relate to my project because we both are in the same line of work. For my project all I want to do is warn children of the dangers in the world and teach the how to deal with anger and animosity while having a very healthy self image of themselves. I want to let them know that it is okay to be different and there’s nothing to be ashamed of.
Job’s experience related to the building of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina because those of us who lost everything are starting to slowly get it all back. It’s going to take some time but eventually New Orleans will be back to its former state. But we as a city must learn to deal with the way it is right now and make the best of it. Also Job never cursed God for all of the suffering that he went through. Just like the many potential victims that were rescued during the hurricane. They could have cursed God but they realized that God was the one who kept them alive and safe.
Psalm 22 is about deliverance. Someone is crying out to God to rescue them from a situation that is too much to bear. At first the person questions God asking him why he did not answer when he heard his cry. He says that when God heard others cry he rescues them. He also says he is willing to do whatever needs to be done in order for God to deliver him from the trouble he is in.
