I would not think of myself as fanatic. I don’t believe that the world is going to end in my lifetime. But I can see many reasons why people would believe the end of the world is near. It is natural, something that has been said in many different generations. One could that since the beginning people have been predicting the end. One of the reasons that people believe that the end of the world is here is because it has been mention in many different historical text. Most believe that it is because of man’s wicked nature that God will return to the earth.
I have never been the biggest fan on religious movies. I always feel that I should at least know my bible a little bit better then a movie. But the movie on Joshua was not as bad as I thought it would be. You could tell that it was not a movie made on a Mel Gibson budget but they did their best with what they were given. I think that I was disappointed in the led character acting. I think it’s because I see him every week on television that is kind of hard to see him out of his usual character. It did not help that I was trying to follow the story and I kept on getting my bible stories wrong. Was that a more realistic movie or on of those movies that just a very little fact and fill the movie with nonsense I couldn’t even tell you.
