All the questions this week are questions that I would never think to ask my self. I do not that I would that ever stop and thought about Abraham or and of the biblical figures as role models. To me, most of the stories in biblical text always taught me how not to behave. But I guess if you sit down and think of the good that some of them have done. I think as long as you do not over idolize them they can be good role models. You just have to remind yourself that they were only human like the rest of us. I guess my favorite commandment would commandment number eight in the Catholic version no false witness. I am not a big fan of lying partially because I’m not very good at it. Not to say I have not tried before. But I find that a lot more violent crimes follow this one. The Eastern Suzerain-vassal treaties was the covenant between the Israel people and god the text is laid out in Deuteronomy.
