In Enuma Elsih it speaks of more than one God while Genesis states their is only one divine God. In Genesis that one God posesses all the powere with in him. In Enuma Elisha the power is divieded among the Gods. For example there is a god for water, air, earth, fire and more. That describes that major difference. What they have in common is that both stories do have a theme of creation. God in Genesis actually thinks things into creating being one of the major differences between their creation stories. It is common for a write to extend what may really happen in a story. This same concept is the idea of the Tiglath-Pileser principle. This principle was name after an Assyrian king Pulu. He rovted agains Ashur.
