Whosoever will let them come… a saying my pastor used to always say. It touches my heart every time i hear it.; necause it reminds me of when i answered God’s calling on my life. For my project i am going to stand on a canal street corner once a week an witness of the great works of christ in my life.
I hope to help people understand the concept of Love and how the Love of God has made the world a much better place than it would be. If someone every wanted to do their part in making the world a better place i can tell them how.

While you can reach a certain number of people this way, can you think of a way to reach more people? And why Canal street? What about using technology to reach more people. And be more specific, what do you mean exactly by “witness”?

I think it’s a good idea because a lot of people need God on Canal street, but the problem might be that people won’t listen to you. We always see those people on Bourbon with signs that talk about many situations, and they pass out pamphlets that always end up in te trash or on the floor.

I think that you have a Good idea, but I think you should also branch out a little further than just canal street. I also think that you should come up with something catch while you stand on canal street, whether it be a big bright poster, or just something that will catch people’s attentntion, and make them want to hear you message.

I think this is a good idea, but maybe a little dangerous. It is very important to witness to people about your faith and make believers out of people. I think maybe you should start on campus and work your way out some other way. A lot of crazy things could probably happen to you on Canal Street while you’re doing this so if you decide to do this then please BE CAREFUL!

I would have to agree with some of the other people who commented already on your blog. Being that I somewhat know you, I feel that you could reach out and help some people. You are a very cool person I know you want to help people because you told me this once before. But like professor Homan said I think it would be better if you used some type of technology. If you stand on Canal Street you could look like on of those crazy people that already are out there. They have many of people that are either on Canal or Bourbon doing what you want to accomplish in you project. You might need to take this from a different angle. Just some food for thought.
