Great project. New Orleans has one of the lowest rank schools neither before nor after Katrina. There are many out there that needs academic help and it’s good to see you are one of them who volunteers to help those who needs it the most. Continue on with the good work!

There is not enough emphasis on the education of children these days. So your project came not a minute too soon. I admire your for choosing such a project. Children are a very important part in our society…after all, they are our future!

Nice job with getting your project off the ground. The youth is a big part of our future and I’m glad to see someone like myself focusing on them. I’m trying to stop youth volience. This is an excellent project. It was well thought out and executed. People would really be surprised at how much of an impact that hour or two you spend volunteering affects the children. Although the project seems small its consequences are great. I used to tutor myself and I know it is fulfilling to know the children are anxious for you to come and give them your attention. Good Work!

Many people would think that volunteering would be to simple, however people fail to realize that in order to solve any problem it must be done first small and grow. I am also a M.A.X volunteer here at Xavier University. I know how these students benefit from having us come and tutor them. It is not that we help them so much academically, but it is that we given the encouragement to carry on. I think your project is wonderful and I wish you the best. Good luck with you project.

I am in agreement with your statements about education for the new orleans students.Iam happy to hear that you didnt give up when things didnt go as planned and that you came up with another plan to help the children.I wish you the best with the rest of your project

We have a lot in common on our project because I want to help better education for the childen in New Orleans especially in the Neighborhoods where I know they need the most help. Good luck to you and saty positive because I know it can wear you down to work so hard with a kid and not see a vast improvement.
