The Enuma Elish and Genesis are similar because both depict the beginning of civlization or creation. In the Enuma Elish, there are several different gods that were responsible for the creation of civlization where as in Genesis, God was the sole creator of all things. One of the main differences was that the father in the Enuma Elish wanted to kill the children because they were to noisy. In Genesis, a child was to be sacrificed for God.
Tiglath Plieser was an Assyrian King that took over because the people were not worshipping their god, Ashur, He is said to have taken over 20,000 men and defeated them, After defeating them he turned the men over to become slaves.
