Enuma Elish and Genesis possess many parallel concerning the creation of land and luminaries such as the stars and moon. There is also the creation of man that connects them as well, even though the creation of them is rather different from each other. The six days of creation in Genesis somewhat relate to the six generations of gods were created in Enuma Elish. Although, a difference lies in the seventh day of the two stories. In Genesis, the seventh day is presented as God’s day of rest or the Sabbath yet in Enuma Elish, the seventh day is of much celebration and drunkenness. Tiglath-Pileser was a great Assyrian king that fought and conquered many, showing no mercy to his victims and ruling with a heavy hand.
