The creation story in the book of Genesis and the creation story Enuma Elish have some similarities and some differences. Enuma Elish is a Babylonian creation story that dates back to Hammurabi the Great. It parallels with the book of Genesis because it is written on seven tablets and the creation story in Genesis took seven days. This number is significant in both stories.
