In genesis God created light, darkness, firmament, water, and dry land. Soon there came animal life to the sea and are after that to the land. God created man from the dirt and breathed life into his nostrils. The Enuma Elish is all different first off there is more than one god, and the key gods in our story were the sons and daughters of the sweet and bitter water. This water was not the type of what you or I would think about it was just random water floating in air. Sweet water was the father Apsu and bitter was the mother Tiamat. The first rivalry in the Enuma Elish was father against son when Apsu wanted to kill his children for being well normal kids in all actuality. With all their nose Apsu could not sleep this was the reason he wanted to kill them. As the story unfolds Apsu is killed and Ea became king. Ea son Damkina all was fine until Tiamat was influence my Anu and she wanted to fight all the other gods and destroy them. Damkina was the one who latter destroys Tiamat before she had a chance to attack the other gods. Damkina because the new god above all others, then he takes Tiamat’s carcass and creates earth and all things that life on it. The only similarities I found between the two stories were the mention of the two rivers the Tigris and eupharies. I Genesus this were to rives seen in the garden of Eden, I n the Enuma Elish Damkina created the same rivers from the split eyes of Tiamat. Another similarity was with the mention of the tower of Babble in the Enuma Elish babble was the place Damkina wanted all the other gods to live so the could enforce his law on earth. In Genius, Babble was were wall the fist humans live and the wanted to get into heave so they created the tower of Babble. God did not like this so he screwed up their language creating confusion with stopped construction of the tower and caused the people to spread out across the land.
