My comments on peoples projects.

Kirbie Guerin: Okay, just to get this out of the way, tasting urine sounds disgusting, but I can say that I know a lot of people who either suffer from diabetes or knows someone who suffers from diabetes and before you brought diabetes awareness to this class, i must admit, i barely knew anything about diabetes. Whether Dr. Homan thinks you succeeded in your goal or not, I do know that I have a better understanding what diabetes is than I did before. Good Job.

Mai ham: I for one think that recycling is very important. I know I try to recycle as much as I can and just imagine if you started getting everyone in this city to recycle. Me being an outsider of New Orleans, I at first never wanted to sight see some of the famous landmarks that New Orleans had to offer because I thought certain areas were dirty. This is a great city and if it would be cleaner, it would make it even better, so congrats in starting the first steps for a better New Orleans.

Kayla Yowman: You should be applauded for your effort on trying to educate people about the effects and dangers of the HIV virus. I am saddened to see that more people were not more acceptable to this noble cause but hopefully this does not discourage you because this is a great idea. If I can help in anyway just let me know because this is something that needs to start being addressed in today’s society. Good Luck.

Jennifer Msigawa: Wow, in my opinion this was one of the most challenging project ideas in our class and I seriously admire your project. I know I am a person that is highly interested in Bone Marrow transplants and I hope you can share ideas and info about your findings because I know I am highly interested.

Kaleen Moses: Good job on tutoring kids. I read that one of your students has improved dramatically since you started tutoring and that is really great. keep up the good work and just that one student that improved surely made your tutoring worth it. Keep it up.

Lauren Doby: I know your project is tutoring to and I think that is great because their could never be enough teachers in the world. You are helping them prepare for their future and hopefully they are grateful for this because they should be, you are doing a great thing.

Gabrielle Gordon: I know how you feel on not implementing your project as much as you would like but you have still done some good things. You told a few people about the fears and possibility of STDs and hopefully they will in turn spread your message.

Charlita Harris: I am so sorry you could not implement your project this semester but we have to appreciate the effort you put into it. I know finding out all the rules you had to follow just to try to create awareness had to be frustrating but for all of our sakes, please try again next semester.

Holly Nguyen: I think this was probably the best project idea in our class and you are truly doing a wonderful thing. Also thanks for emailing me info on how I could possibly get involved in this. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to do anything yet but hopefully next semester my schedule will not be so stressful and I could join in being a big brother. Good job and you are doing a great thing.

Tracy Smith: With crime being a major problem in this city, I am glad that someone is fed up and trying to promote a change. good job and hopefully you get major results from your project. keep up the good work.
