according to deuterenomic history a great king was not in the measure of his stature it was a man who could uphold and obey the laws of God. a a man could not do such ten he should not be able to be king. David was a good king but he was far from perfect just like any other human being. he was not a very big man in stature but he had a big heart. He would defend the honor of his god even if his life depended on it. then he did as brave as ever he stood up to goliath hit him with the sligshot and chopped off his head with his own sword. now thats what i would call honor; and it was all done in the name of Yahweh. how many peole do you know inthis day and time that will do the same thing that David did in this day and time? i know not one
the first temple was built by solomon and it was destroyed around 70 ad
