In order to improve the world, I thought about many different situations that we could consider. Many concepts came into thought, and I knew that there was nothing in my power to change these situations. I thought about many broad aspects, and situations that the president would not be able to change, so I did not consider bringing out those big, uncontrolled problems. A problem that I believed I had an amount of power to help was the problem of pollution and graphitic. With the problem of the hurricane, and the amount of damage that this hurricane left, I thought that people would be more willing to help clean up the city and start over. I wanted to help inform the people that prevention of pollution is something that should be celebrated and something that we should demonstrate, especially in New Orleans. As the people who were involved in this drastic hurricane, had to walk in this high water, many died due to the degree that was within the city. When we think about if this trash was picked up, it may have saved a life. In many cases we do not consider it to be so detrimental, but in many cases it is. So the way I changed the world was by setting up a trash day celebration. I set up a table with trash bins on the side of the table and gathered people to throw away a piece of paper. it may sound real simple, but It is realistic, and can be done with anyone, in any community. Many might ask the question, how would this make a change in the world, but we really have to analyze the full situation, and gather ever aspect that we could benefit from. Consider the people who see us out there trying to make a change, trying to make a difference within the community and later expand throughout the world. The people observe how recycling, and keeping the community clean means to us college kids, and later present the same importance within the world. Every time the start to throw something on the floor, the might just recall that time they seen us at the store, and may just pick up that one piece of paper. As they talk about the importance of picking up trash, they may present the same information to people around them. What is so significant about projects that make a difference is the fact that news travel very fast, and could create a global flow all over the world and could possibly make this world a more livable place. It takes one person to make a difference and I feel that because I included more people within my project, this people is making a difference, and presenting the same information to the people around them. All the positive things we do at home, in our community, and everywhere we go; could present an impact on the world and the people who we provide them to all have an impact in some sort. Jesus presented many parables, and so many different lessons for us to learn. Because his messages are so powerful and intriguing, I feel many people would like to follow and become a follower of Jesus, and follow the messages that he deliver. This was one of the reasons that Jesus was crucified. The Romans and the Jews did not like the fact the Jesus had too many followers, and they believed him to be a threat. They did not want the thoughts and beliefs to be followed by the people so crucified Jesus. Jesus did not leave and hide, but due to his crucifixion, we are able to receive forgiveness for our sins. It is very important for us to acknowledge what people do and how people feel towards certain situations in order to get different perspectives.
