The responses I have received from week four were very positive and informing. I in return responded to thoses comments leaving my opinion on their comments.

The logo I have designed for the project I am working on “Globalizing Girls First,” has a logo and a slogan.

Slogan: Positive Influences Promoting Positive Futures

I do not believe that the patriarchs or the matriarchs are positive role models. The reason I believe that the patriarchs are not good role models is because the men amongst the patriarchs were allowed to be promiscuous and have multiple wives which is not a good influence with young men and women to look up to. Another reason is that the patriarchs have multiple children with these women giving gratification to unprotected sex and down grading monogamy. The matriarchs are not off the hook completely either because it is still the same bases with unprotected sex and multiple sexual partners, however the difference is that women are completely disrespected and allow their husbands to have mistresses and concubines. The Decalogue fits into the context of ancient near Eastern Suzerian-Vassal because it has five basic strong holds.

My favorite commandment in the decalouge would have to be “Thou shall have no other gods before me.” The reason why this is my favorite is because we have to acknowledge that their is a creator that causes all of this to happen. It is the only commandment that is truly straight forward without misinterpertation.
