The main mission of biblical prophets was to spread the word of God wherever they went. They sent messages, gave advice, and also delivered punishment to sinners. Addressed issues and warned people of their faults. Biblical prophets can be related to our projects in a way because we are doing somewhat of the same thing, by attempting to address a problem by correcting the situation to make it better. There is no absolute guarantee that people will listen to what we have to say. All we can do is implement our project the best we can and hope that people will follow the example we set through our project. The most significant difference between us and the biblical prophets is that they spreadGod’s laws and commandments while we as students are trying to make the world a better place. Psalm 22 pertains to the pain David expressed when he has to escape Saul and his troops because some of the kingdom is seeking to kill him. King David chooses to put this into words on his sorrow and perceptions in the psalm. Job once has a great life, with an abundance of animals and a house full of childrenJob once has a great life, with an abundance of animals and a house full of children. The devil brought a case to god saying that if you took all of the humans humanly possessions away then we will not worship him because of it. They decide to use Job as an example and kill all of his children and animals and take everything away from him. He even gets sick, but he never curses god because of it. Everyone tries to convince him that he has sinned or done something to earn God’s wrath. Job, still never gives up on God. God continues to test Job but ultimately apologizes for questioning God and in return God gives him everything back and more. sometimes life can be quite difficult and there will be great joy and great pain, yet we must never give up our faith no matter how bad things get. To me Hurricane Katrina was a test to see how much faith the people had in him, and to also realize that there is a God. Even though God brought great destrauction to the city of New Orleans it was all according to his will. No man should be mad at God because everything he does is perfect. People are to keep faith within tough times. Rebuilding, picking up the pieces, while hoping God will continue to bless give the city of New Orleans more than it ever had even before the storm. “For the Lord giveth as the Lord taketh away.”
