My project is about helping teenagers understand the importance of education and preventing them from becoming teenage parents. My project relates to the prophets because the prophets obeyed Jesus and Jesus preached about helping people. Jesus helped people throughout his entire life. He helped the blind to see again, he healed the people who could not walk, and he raised people from the dead. Jesus was all about preaching the good news and helping those who needed it.

Job’s experience definitely relates to the people in New Orleans. Job thought that he was being punished for something that he had done. After Hurrican Katrina, people were saying that God allowed this to happen because the people of New Orleans were not doing the right thing. People thought that this was a sign from God that people needed to start doing the right things and stop the violence.

Psalm 22 is about David praying to God asking God “why have you forsaken me?” In the 22 Psalm, David is praying to the lord and telling him that he cries out day by day but the lord is not answering him. He explains how people mock him and say “He trusts in the Lord; let the Lord rescue him.” David also explains how he was born unto the Lord, and he has believed in him since the beginning of his days. Basically David was in pain and praying to the lord, hoping that he would some how give him answers.
