week 2: 3 biggest problems

I think the three biggest problems facing the world today is the failing economy, technological changes, and third world countries still remaining in poverty facing hunger problems and disease. I think the most important out of any of these issues is third world countries and the things they go through trying to survive and provide for their families everyday like countries in Southern Africa, because these are the people that we seem to forget when we’re living the lavish luxury life in America. Even though we may seem like we don’t live like that at all, compared to other countries we are living a great life. These people are on the outside looking in and wanting to provide for their families like we are able to provide for ours. I think this topic is the best one that I could do the most to help out as much as I could. Even though the economy is crashing right now, I don’t think there is much I can do about that and technology is always changing. I think this could be a problem because we now have to get converter boxes for our televisions that are very expensive. Not everyone can afford to buy digital TV’s or converter boxes. GM motors are now planning to replace human workers with machines that only require one person to push a button to make the machine work. If all major corporations starts to do this to save money because of the so called recession then this could lead to what may seem like another industrial revolution and people rebelling and causing lots of crimes and maybe world war and I don’t think there’s much I can do about this problem either. I think I can do more about helping those in my community let along those all around the world. I think people need focus their attention to these third world countries because believe it or not the way these people live can have a major effect on the United States. If they stop producing raw materials that we need like oil, spices, and jewels then we won’t be able to process those materials and sell them to our pubic or the other states around world or maybe sell the process goods back to the people who supplied the raw materials to us. The people living in third world countries are dealing with issues like hunger which leads to malnourished children along with their parents that can and has led to disease and death. They are dealing with issues of poor planning like bad sewage and water lines that have also lead to death and disease like malaria, But who’s to blame for this, of course the government is always to blame along with local officials and political leaders. These people don’t have anyone to depend on. Half of the time the government that is being dealt with are still depending other governments from foreign countries such as Americas that don’t have their own resources for their natives,so who do they depend on then how can they expect us to dish out our resources to be as of aid towards them? Well thats when we grow up and help our fellow neighbors. Mama always said share when we were little. I think we should take our own advice and help out others struggling to survive and feed their families. These people are crying out for help. Another issue that is also contributing the factors of poverty in third world countries is the lack of knowing and the lack of knowledge of the health care providers over there like in Africa. These people are dying because the people that are actually healthcare professionals don’t have as much new technology or knowledge of the some of the diseases and cases that they have to deal with. Some of the people in the healthcare profession are leaving their countries to become doctors and nurses in foreign countries which is leading to the problem of the lack of these professionals that can help these people. It’s like having one nurse or one doctor to a hundred patients which leads these patients to sit around and wait to be seen and while their waiting their dying. All of this brings us back to the issues of poverty. There is also lack of locations for the hospitals with limited space. some of these hospitals are actually place outside with their patients being treated on cots in sometimes bad weather like summer time heat and winter time coldness. So because these people have unfortunate hospitals they are not able to get the proper treatment that they need so these hungry malnourished women, children, and men continue to stay hungry and eventually die because they don’t have doctors that can treat them for their hunger or give them food or water to get them hydrated. One more contributing factor is that children are being subjected to becoming laborers in their countries because there isn’t good schools that they can attend or there just might be any school at all for them to attend. Also the education their is so limited to its resources like its schools and and educators that there is high schooling fees that these families can’t afford so it leads them to go out and get jobs and some of these jobs are actually illegal that consist of children becoming prostitutes, drug dealers, gold and diamond minors, and selling pirated goods that can lead them to becoming dead or incarcerated. So after all that being said I think all these ideas lead up to death, poverty, and starvation. So I think I’m going to do my project by starting on helping people in my community and gradually work my way up to doing more research and finding out ways that I can help the families in third world countries. Yes I fully understand the plagiarism policy and I don’t ever plan on coping anyone’s work because God watches everything you do and h wouldn’t be very happy.
