The above picture that I have posted is of the flyer that I have passed out amongst my community. The flyer includes a definition of global warming and it list ways that people can help fight global warming. The list includes about eight suggestions for people to take advantage of. However, on the picture you can only see three suggestions listed which include reducing the amount of energy usage for heating and cooling, recycle, and driving. Positioned top and center of the flyer is a picture of the planet, which is in flames with the phrase, “Are you ready for global warming?” I figured that this picture would get many people attention and lure them into reading the content in the flyer.

I have changed the world in so many ways with my project. Now only have I created flyers, but I have also passed them around to a variety of people. With these flyers, I have made the amount of people, who are aware of global warming, increase. Not only do they know of the threats posed by global warming, but they also know of ways that they can help. The question is whether or not they will choose to do so. I can passed out my flyers to numerous people, but the problem is will they take the suggestions that I have made on the flyers into consideration? Hopefully, they will take action in some way. In addition to passing out flyers, I have also created a facebook group dedicated to global warming. I know of many people, who access the website frequently and I am certain that I can reach out to a large fraction of the world via facebook. There are many groups on facebook that are dedicated to different purposes. My group’s page on facebook will enable people to comment on the recent issues that I have posted on my page and allow them to voice their opinions, concerning the matters. Maybe there’s more than one group on facebook dedicated to global warming, if so, I intend on networking with them to expand our purpose. To add, I have planted trees and constructed a garden in my neighborhood. One is located in front of my house and another one is located in front of  my neighbor’s house, who helped finance the project. I am utmost proud of planting trees and plants in the neighborhood because even after I graduate, these plants will be blossoming. The sight of the plants will remind me of my hardwork and the effort that I made to fight global warming. The plants are more of a everlasting representation of fighting global warming because they’ll always be there; they can also remind my neighbors of the talk about global warming that took place when I handed out my flyers. Although what I have accomplished may seem easy to do, it really is not. I had to raise the money to help my father buy the plants, the bark and soil treatment to keep insects from damaging the plants. I also had to make time in my busy schedule to spend a day digging up old soil and putting down new soil before inserting the plants into the ground. I had to form a blueprint of exactly how I would carry out my project and when I would carry out my project. Overall, after taking action in carrying out my project, I have prove the world because now those who I have informed about global warming can do something about it. They can no longer sit around and act like there’s nothing in their power that they can do. Fighting global warming will benefit the human race in the future. There really aren’t any downfalls about taking a stand against global warming. The hardest part is getting enough of people to actually participate. Honestly, I can ensure you that if I did a survey about global warming in my community, a lot of people would not be too concern about the issue because they don’t see how global warming is affecting them directly. However, global warming does affect the City of New Orleans in many ways. Think of the intensity of recent hurricanes and keep in mind that New Orleans is already below sea level, so if the sea level keeps rising due to global warming, where does that leave the citizens of New Orleans? I have done as much as time has allowed me to about global warming, the rest is in the hands of the people that I have informed.

Why was Jesus crucified?

It is believed that Jesus Christ was crucified “under Pontius Pilate.” However, the question here is why was Jesus crucified? Jesus was crucified on an account of two crimes. He was charge with claiming to be the King of the Jews. This charge was false, but in fact Jesus really was the King of the Jews. This first crime is what is written on top of Jesus cross. Also, when Jesus began his ministry, he attracted many followers with is teachings and his ability to cure people, so the people of Galilee began thinking that he was the Messiah. However, Jesus never said he was the Messiah. Jesus was also charged with starting a rebellion because under Roman law, anyone who claimed to be was guilty of rebellion and the sentence to that crime was crucifixion. Pilate realized that Jesus was innocent, but he was more worried about having Jewish leaders on his side than setting an innocent man free. Jesus Christ, an innocent man was crucified on false accounts due to people’s belief that he was the Messiah. Jesus never proclaimed to be the Messiah, it was the people’s own assumption. Jesus died for our sins (a moment of silence). In the words of Salt & Pepper, “what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man.” Jesus is a man who will has everlasting life for the courage and devotion that he showed for his people.
