Why do most Christians in history believe that the world will end in their lifetimes? Blog about the Bible movie we watched in class. Blog your thoughts on what your overall grade for your blog entries and your project should be and why.

Many Christians are taught that Jesus Christ will return in glory and reign eternally. No one knows exactly when this will happen. Christians have learned through Bible readings that there are signs that the world is ending. Some of those signs or warnings are in the form of natural disasters such as hurricanes or numerous wars between nations and ethnic groups. The bible also tells us that additional signs are hunger, out breaks of diseases, and earthquakes. It is also believed that the advancement of nuclear weapons is a definitive threat or sign that the end is near. According to Matthew the world will end as a result of the weaponry. Because people in our life time have witnessed the increasing wars, the increasing terrorist attacks, the violent attacks among ethnic groups and within ethnic groups, the outbreak of diseases such as AIDS, the increasing violent hurricanes and storms caused by , floods, earthquakes, and the constant threat of nuclear bombs and weapons will cause the end of the world. We have witnessed the world changing, so does that mean the world will end in our lifetime. Some people feel that it will. Most people do not know the exact timing, but they do believe that the world will end as a result of their Christian religious beliefs. As a Christian I believe that Jesus is coming back one day to take his people with him. I never actually thought about him coming in my lifetime. I do live my life as if the day will come when Jesus will be here to judge us.

We never watched a Bible movie in our class. . . .

Based on my blogs and project I overall think I deserve an A. I think I deserve an A because of all the time and work it took into writing these thousand word blogs every week. I am not sure if all my blogs are completely free of grammatical errors but I know that it was not easy to complete all of them. My blogs should show that I took this class very seriously and put time and effort into completing all of the blogs. I answered all the questions and I kept the class updated on my project. I always make sure that I have at least 1000 words but usually I have a few more than 1000 words. My project meant a lot to me and I put a lot of hard work into it. Everyone that has commented on my project has been very supportive and has agreed that my project should help change the world.

I’m pretty sure that my project won’t change the world over night but the small steps will hopefully add up. The main way I think my project will change the world is by an impact on our future. Children are the future parents, officers, teachers, lawyers, doctors, etc. of the world and by assisting them today I am investing in the future of our world.
