In our modern day, we face many problems. How is it possible to just pick three? Well, I guess I can give an example of the three that came to my mind. I believe hate, hunger, and dishonesty are a few of the biggest problems we face today. To start off, hunger is one the biggest problems we face today that makes me extremely sad. The U.N. estimates that around more than 900 million people in the world does not have enough access to food. When we think about hunger, we often see different faces, skinny faces, sad children, and naked children with thin legs and bloated stomachs. We imagine it this way because of what we hear about it. We might not go through it, but we still feel for it. It is important to remember that hunger exists not only in Africa, South America, and Asia but right here in the United States, the richest nation on earth. More than thirty-six million Americans do not have enough to eat, and it is still growing. Even though some may be working to get food and some are too poor to get food and they are those that are homeless without food. They are the people who forage in dumpsters outside to find what they can get. Hunger is a form of torment that takes away your ability to believe and even to perform physical things. I’ve never had to go without food, but when I didn’t get what I wanted it made me sad. When I waste my food, I feel bad for the others that could be eating it. I am trying to stop this bad habit. I can’t even imagine what it feels like to have nothing to eat and not knowing when your next meal would be. I would be terrified and emotionally distraught if I was in this position. I feel as if I should put out and do as much as I can to help others. When people ask me for a couple of dollars for food, I give it to them. Becoming a sponsor or funding organizations that help hungry in a community will be a start to something new. Also, doing a food drive and passing it out to the homeless would highly be appreciated by those who need it. As a community, a city, and as a whole we all have to work together to do the most we can for those. If we need to raise up more money, we shall do a fund raiser. If we need to get more volunteers, we shall search. We need and will work as a whole.

Dishonesty, dishonesty, dishonesty… Why do people lie so much? Who do we trust? Why do we trust them? Should we trust them? Truthfully, I cannot answer these question that well anymore. We can barely trust those who are close to us, those who are related to us, or those who “say” they are doing the best they can for us. The truth always seems so hidden no matter what it is or where it is. We can’t trust what people say they think of us. We can’t trust whether people think our appearance is nice. We can’t trust the opinions people have of each other. We can’t trust what our team mates say about our skills. We can’t trust some of our family’s intentions. For example, a friend tells you can come to them if you need anything. You borrow just a tiny amount of money, and you pay them just a couple weeks later. Now, they depend on you for a favor. They make you feel guilty for what they have done for you but at this current time you cannot do it for them. I believe everyone should be honest to each other because it helps the relationship between them. I believe if we were honest to each other there wouldn’t be that much hate in our society. Since our society is filled with liars, it is filled with hate.

Hate. Hate leads to violence. Hate. What a word. One of the main problems we face in our world today would have to be hatred. We can explain this as a feeling that has no compassion. I do not understand personally how anyone could feel as if they hate someone or something so much to the degree of wanting to kill or hurt it. I may hate someone, but I do not hate them to where I want to kill them. I feel as I would like to fight them to show them that I am not scared, but even that isn’t right. Why do we fight our own friends? Why do we fight our own family? In today’s world, they do that to hold up their reputation. We should care more about what others think of what we are doing. It makes me feel horrible when I fight with my sister, but sometime I feel as if she deserves it. Even so, hate should not be one of the biggest problems we face today, but it is. We should learn to love the good and bad things about everybody and work together to make our world a better society.

Also, we should not plagiarize because they work hard to write their work. Their work is original. I believe that we should do our own work and do as much we can to get our grade. Also, plagiarism is illegal. It wouldn’t be worth getting in trouble for. In conclusion, to answer the last question, there is more than one bible. For this reason that is why there is no such thing as “The Bible.”
