My project has been getting delayed because, like many of you, school itself is overwhelming and we also had midterms that just took place and we were all studying.  I haven’t had the time to look for volunteers, collect or ask for donations, and actually mapping out the whole project and throwing ideas to come up with a set schedule and plan to carry out this project.  I would hope that people who are interested and or have the same category would comment this blog and giving their thoughts and ideas of what should be done and their schedules so that it would be less work for everyone.

This class deals with majority of what we are going to go through in our lives.  It gives us insight on how the world is really like without doctors and much care for others.  It gives me, and also many others, the motivation to do well in this class and to get the most out of it and also in many of the other classes that we are taking and what we will take in the future.  As i spoke about in my previous blog, religion gives boundaries in our lives with our ten commandments and the other rules that many different religions have.  If those rules were not in place the world would be very much different that how it is today.  This class also helps us think outside of the box and come up with different ideas and other perspectives that we can contribute to helping the world become a better place.  It also proves how hard work can be credited and remembered because of the long work and research that people have done and how committed they are to what they are doing.  It shows that people can really do what they have their mind set on and be known for it.  This allows us to become motivated and wanting to be known for what we’ve done for the world and contributing it to be a more healthy and peaceful place to be.

Feminist Criticism allows males to see the female side of things.  It shows that females can really contribute to the world.  The bible was said to be written for males, but yet there are events that females contributed a lot to the bible history.  An example would be when Leah lied to her father about stealing his icon and she had to lie to her father to safe Jacob’s life.  It also was said that men wrote the bible.  I’m sure that if women had taken part in writing the bible there would be more events mentioned in the bible pertaining the women’s contributions to the history of the bible.  Women were majority talked about when they were saying serving their husbands or their ruler.  In the bible it seems that women don’t really contribute to the bible because there’s barely any of them mentioned in the bible and that they didn’t do anything but serve and didn’t have any importance.  A good point that was talked about in the bible was Deborah.  Deborah was the only female judge and that she was the fourth judge, which was one of the early judges.  She was also one of the military leaders in the bible.

I think i didnt do too well on the midterm.  I knew this once after i took the test because the part that took my grade extremely down was the essay about the reading and the who said what to whom in which book of the bible.  There were so many books of the bible that i had to remember and parts of the articles we had to read that we had to remember.  There was so much information that i needed to remember and i also had several different tests during the week and there was so much information that i had to prepare for and remember all at once.  There was so much reading that was involved prior to this test and that there were many readings that had to be done.  Even though that we read the material before it was just the fact that we had to remember all of the information at once, reviewing everything took so much time.  So many pages out of the Bible for Dummies along with the four long articles that we had to read and remember in order to write our essay portion.  Also remember all of the vocabulary and worry about which vocab words are going to be on the test.
