10 people that I commented:
1-Terry Pham
Terry Pham, your project about helping hunger is so wonderful. Your idea is so good and clear. Indeed, I heard a lot of people taking about that. However, they never want to do it. Hopefully, You will make your project come true one day. And let me know if you want to donate to helping people. I’ll volunteer to help you.
2- Christopher Le
Hi, Chistopher. Nowadays, a lot of people who have good life but they never think about homeless people who live around them. Hopefully, you’ll success on your project.
3- Paulyna Quyen Nguyen
Quyen , how you can make your project come true. It seems so hard. However, I think they would help your community.
4- Julianne brown
I agree with you Brown. Education is very important, especially for children. I think if you ask the principles of those schools for tutoring, they will accept it. I think children sometimes don’t want to show what they do not understand, and they are scare of asking their teachers for explaining. So, it’s so wonderful if we are volunteer come to help them.
5- Elizabeth Tran
I had read your project about kitchen soup for homeless people. I don’t know it is a good idea or bad idea, but it seems so dangerous. How you think you can let strangers to your garage, and how can you cook for them?
6-Chalsea Dennis
You and Julianne have the same thought. I think your guys can help each other on your project.
7-Avona Kim baird
I think the same way to not using too much paper as you. School can ask student to use computer instead.
8-Amber Spurlock
I agree with you, Amber. I think school is also a good place to take care of children’ health. Nowadays, parents are so busy and they really don’t have time to see what is going on for their children because they just spend a couple times with their children after school. So teacher at school can follow them better than their parents. I think you can do not only teeth but also ear, eyes and skin test too. I like your project.
9-Carla Simmons
Recycling plastic and paper is a good idea. Although trash is trash, but if you can make trash to be useful, it’s fantastic.
10-Princess Carter
Your project is so good. Nowadays, many , many young people got died because of AIDS because they don’t know how to protect themselves. By talking to the teens about sex, they will be able to know all of the risks, and hopefully choose to abstain. This is a very sensitive subject that many people try to avoid, but it only causes more problems when not talked about. By having a type of awareness about this, many lives can be saved.
The similar between Enuma Elish and Genesis is that Genesis has the seven days of creations, while Enuma Elish has seven tablets. Both describe a time when the earth was without form and empty. Both records tell of the creation of the moon, stars, plant life, animals , and man. Second, a striking similarity between the ordering of heavenly lights in the fifth act of creation in Genesis and the fifth tablet of Enuma Elish. Third, both Enuma Elish and Genesis have the formation of the earth before the formation of constellations. Four, In the Enuma Elish the God Apsu (the God of fresh water) and the god Tiamat (the god of salt water) mix their waters giving birth to a next generation of gods. Similarly, water had a significant role in the first day of creation in Genesis.
Different between Enuma Elish and Genesis is that Genesis speaks of one God who exists and creates while the Enuma Elish speaks of Gods, one male and one female. Second Genesis teaches that human beings were made in the image of God. Adam, the first man, was created from the dust of the earth. In Enuma Elish had man created from the blood of Kingu, a murdered hero. Third, in the Genesis account of creation, God is the ultimate source of power. The Enuma Elish teaches that magical incantations are the ultimate source of power. Forth in Genesis shows that God is above His creation, He is not subject to anyone or anything, while the Enuma Elish teaches that the gods are subject to nature.
Tiglath-Pileser Iiwas a king of Assyria during the Middle Assyrian period (1114 – 1076 BC). According to Georges Roux, Tiglath-Pileser was, “one of the two or three great Assyrian monarchs since the days of Shamshi- Adad I.
