Project: My three topics is Poverty, Extreme Disasters, and Discrimination/Inequality. Personally, I can help mostly with the poverty and discrimination/inequality. As for the extreme disasters, a majority of the disasters are from mother nature. Moreover, there is no way on God’s Green Earth that I can prevent them from happening. The only thing I can say is to be prepared to the best of your ability even though that may be hard and do not ever take any situation for granted. Because Hurricane Katrina was a HUGE shocker for everyone. So never take anything for granted because one may not ever know how deathly a situation may be. I can help with the poverty and inequality/discrimination by helping anyone who needs help in any way, form or fashion. Inequality can be prevented if everyone give everyone a chance to prove themselves and not by judging a person by their skin, weight, height, etc.. Everyone should be treated equally because we are all humans who have feelings and emotions. Fortunately, two topics are dealing with the profession I will love going into in which is law.
Reading/ Lecture/ Discussions: There is no such thing as “The Bible” because there are a various amount of different versions of the Bible. The King James Bible seem to be the Bible most people including David Bartlett grew up learning. Some positive aspects are learning the original words that were used during that time and be taught the same Bible one’s parents were raised up learning. Some negative aspects are being confused by the word usage and misunderstanding the language. Biblical scholars are people who go around reading different bibles to notice the different word usage. Biblical studies are related to Theology by teaching about the understandings of the Bible. I could not see myself as a Biblical scholar because I would have a plethora of difficulties finding or pinpointing the different words used throughout different Bibles. The history of writing from its earliest form was pictures and symbols. During that time, words did not exist. However, they made picture or symbols of what they wanted to talk about until the invention of the alphabets. To be honest, I really do not have a clue about where writing and the alphabets were invented. I really never thought about it really, yet that is a real unique question. I do not have the answer right now. I will go look it up on the internet or through an encyclopedia to find out. Alphabets changed civilization completely because if we did not have them. We would not be able to speak let alone write or even pronounce anything. Moreover, we probably would not have names. We would have a symbol or picture for our names. In conclusion, I thank the person who invented the alphabets. THANKS! TOTALLY!
