Spiritual darkness is one of the biggest problems with the world today. There are millions of people who have never even heard the name of Jesus Christ and millions more whom have never had mentors, anyone to help guide them through their path of life, or someone to be their friend. Spiritual darkness is a source for depression, unhappiness, and an unfulfilled life. The reason many people lack spirituality is the fact that there is a lack of servant leaders around the world. I plan to encourage plans to implement counseling and mentorship, while on campus and in the church.
Archaeology began with Orientalism which is a movement in which people came from Europe fascinated with the Orient. This occurred when Byzantine and Crusader pilgrims sought artifacts from the Holy Land. The Renaissance age was infatuated with classical antiquity. Modern archeology is a major factor which influences Bible studies. I think I would participate in an archaeology excavation of a biblical cite because its higher education for my mental state. It is always great to learn new things.
Creation stories are made due to curiosity and to validate social and political order. The creation myth I found the most interesting is Enuma Elush which means when on high. It is a Babylonian creation story and dates to the time of Hammurabi the Great. The story is called Enuma Elish after the poems’ opening words. I like this story because of the theories. These include cosmos as being an end product of a war between the gods, etc.

I really like your idea to make God more prevalent on campus. I think a lot of the students would benefit from your actions. Maybe you can enlist the help of those well versed in the Bible and have a deep personally relationship with God, this way they can personally expresses the love they feel and how God has changed their lives.

Your project is very thoughtful. Many people do need someone to turn to give them spiritual enlightenment especially in times of depression and stress. On campus is a great place to begin because a university i s aplace that many people can be reached and people encounter alot of stress and depression. It is very hard to find someone to give good advice during times when your feeling alone so a mentorship program from a spiritual background would be the basis for some sound advice.
