Thank you very much Ramandeep. I have recycled all of my life and still do here at school. I am happy to have had to participate in this project because if not then I probably would not be participating in the things that I am ie Environmental Club. I also would not be trying to educate others in the way that I am. I know that the semester ends soon and I will not stop what I have been doing because of that, but if I hadn’t taken this class then I would not have even started to care in the way that I do now.

To Marie: Thank you for your compliment. I know that others are also very capable of implementing a recycling program. I have been making positive advancements with the implementation of the program. All will not be finalized at the end of the semester, but if it is the Lord’s will I have 3 years to see it grow. I am very excited!

To Kourtnie: I am happy to hear someone else say that recycling is easy, but unseen. That is one thing that I am really trying to emphasize with this program at Xavier. I am also happy to heat that you will make more of an attempt to recycle. I hope to make it more convenient for you with the recycling containers we have now and with and expansion of the program. One thing that we, the environmental club is working on is campus beautification. There are so many restrictions as to what we would be able to do off campus so we are staying on for now. When we get the opportunity to join an outside organization dealing with beautification for New Orleans then we will jump on it. You should come to a meeting sometime. Look for a green flyer.

To Randal: Thank you so much for your offer of assistance for the Arbor Day Program. I have actually decided to make it an Arbor Month and celebrate in the month of May. So, if you are still willing I would love your help. I have considered an incentive program, but have not yet worked out all of the details. Thank you for bringing that back to my attention.

To Kimberli: Thank you very much for your comment. It has inspired me to keep on keeping on. As mentioned before, it is moving slow, but it is moving. Also, you have helped me to look at recycling in a new light, as commonsense! I like that. I am going to have to incorporate it in my campaigning somehow.

To mhoang: I am really happy to know that the program is noticed around campus. Now the task comes with just getting people to be proactive and to actually take action towards this. A lot of people don’t like to participate in things because it takes time, but with our recycling program it is not time out of their hands, just a little consciousness. Are you recycling?

To mbrown: Thank you very much. I am very grateful that they responded to my plea for help. I was also able to find out that right here, in our own city, Tulane University is “green” also, meaning that they have a well established recycling program. I am going to have to find some contact information and hook up with them as well. Yes, and the water jugs are just a start. We will expand.

To thinhnguyen: I am happy to have impressed you with my recycling program. As of right now most of the bins are in the residence halls, but we do have one in the Library Resource Center also. If you have anything you would like to recycle you can drop it there on the first floor. As part of my plan I am looking, in conjunction with the Environmental Club, into an at least three bin system, but right now we are quite tight for money, but I haven’t given up hope. Thank you.

To Jinx: Thank you very much. You have given me a new slogan idea for this recycling program. We are moving in the right direction. The earth IS OURS to inhabit. We need to take care of it. Good luck with your project also.

To tariray: Many people don’t know how serious global warming is and that the lack of recycling is partially attributed to it. But, now it has become my duty to inform them about it. Maybe we will have a global warming day… Mmmm…?
