My opinion on what would upset Jesus the most about today’s world is all the violence and deception. People do not just live life anymore. People are so caught up in what other people are doing and trying to compete with them, instead of living by their faith. I do not think that a day goes by that people do not sin. I mean no one is perfect, but people have to take responsibility of their actions. Most people know that they should not be doing what they do, but continue to do so, no matter the consequence. The world has just become an ugly place. People are making of all Jesus’ work in vain. He did not die on the Cross, so all of humanity could just run wild, just because He is physically gone. If Jesus appeared today He would probably tell everyone how disappointed He is in us, and how sad we have made Him. It seems as if we may not have made any progress.
Jesus was put on trial because saying that He was the son of the Lord. People fear what they do not understand, so I feel like that was one reason He was put onto trial.
Gospel authors recorded these events differently because they viewed them each a different way. These events may have also affected each of them in a different way.
