My Project on Global Warming

A unique project that I am definitely considering is called the greenhouse gas inventory project. Through this program, I want to pursue policies, laws and regulations that are hoped to result in the decrease of greenhouse gas emissions. Another major goal of my project would be to get individuals to understand that its not mother nature who makes herself a better place, it’s the persons who live in mother nature who can make a big difference in global warming. Citizens can get involved with organizations to attract the attention of the government as well as following a couple of the suggestions made above.

Hey Jamel, your project idea sounds like a great one. The problem of global warming is indeed a real probloem, not an idea or random theory. The fact is, there is proof that too many harmful gases that are being emitted into the air that we breathe everyday. Your idea to promote awareness and understanding of this problem is a great idea as well. The only way people can change a bad habit is to understand that it is bad/harmful. You are so right when you say that it is people who have to take care of the earth. The earth is ours to keep clean and healthy. To me, informing people should be a very important part of your project. Good luck =)

This is a great idea Jamel. Like Dr. Homan, I would like to know more specifics of what exactly you plan on doing. To get more information you should contact local businesses who deal with the greenhouse gas inventory project. Also, to get awareness to the community, you could hold city-wide gatherings where you discuss issues regarding this project. On Xavier’s campus alone you could hold events that tell people about this project and how they everyone can help to keep the environment healthy.

This is a great problem to work on considering that it concerns the whole world. You can do many things. One of which is to maybe do a few speeches at different communities or schools. This will definitely show how important this issue is because it is affecting our environment that we are living in. A website is another great way to teach people about global warming and the greenhouse effect. To further emphasize the importance of your project, you can join a group of people or community that is also trying to alleviate this issue. Then, you can certainly do community projects concerning your issue, such as encouraging people not to liter.

Your project deals with a very big issue in our world today. Many people may not fully understand how global warming affects us and take advantage of the situation. You should stress the dangers about global warming to get people more interested and involved. And how are you going to go about pursuing laws and policies on gas emissions? You should think of something and send your suggestions to organizations who are involved.

This is a good project on global warming. Not a lot of people think about it and how it affects our earth. My sister mentioned something about Alaska, that their ozone layer is depleting or has a hole in it because of global warming. I’ve heard about CFC’s but not GHG’s, so it’ll be great if you could tell us in detail what it’s all about.

Global warming is a big issue, but many people are unconcerned with it. Maybe you can try to spread the word on what global warming actually does to the world and what we can do to help. I’m not sure how you’re going to pursue policies, laws, and regulations; but if you can limit harmful gases in anyway that will definitely be a permanent help to a big problem. This project will need much work on your part; but if you succeed, the world and all of its inhabitants will benefit from it. Wish you luck; you’ll probably need it.

Hey, thanks for the useful comments and the questions. I will reflect on those questions. Well, first we are trying to get other people to join in with us and knitt as well. And then work our way on up. In the meantime, my partner and I will try to raise some money for the knitting materials. We are planning to do a candy sale so that people will support us by purchasing our candies or just donate money. Since it is October, people might be in the mood for some canday. Hopefully, there will be many people that day to purchase our candy. I am looking forward to that day. Thanks again for your ideas!

This project is huge but its a great idea. Like me, many people are unaware global warming. So how are you going to make it known to the public and get them involved? With the green house project, you can explain what it is! Good luck on it!

This project is very good, I love to breed in fresh air and not dirty air, so with the help of your project of global warming it will support ourselves with a better life and air. So keep up the good work Jamel!

Your project sounds like a great idea. Informing people about global warming can really help the world today become healthy. You can start a website or a little newsletter talking about the idea of your project. Good luckk!
