Thanks to everyone who gave me support and ideas on my project. I am glad that most of you are more aware of this major problem. The following people are those that I responded to:
Jessica Taylor: Thanks for your comments and all of the ideas. It is true that this problem is often overlooked and I agree with everything you say. As for who I am targeting this problem to, it is actually to everyone. I, myself, can not reduce this serious problem by just cleaning up parks and recycling. Everyone needs to help out a little to reduce this problem. Thanks for your comments and good luck on your project!
Thien Le: Thanks for your comments on my projects. Global warming is getting worse everyday and I also believe that it will cause a major catastrophic disaster if nothing is done. Hopefully everyone can see this serious problem and help solve it. I like your idea about writing a letter to the newspaper and I will certainly make sure that it will be done before this semester ends. Thanks again for the comments and good luck on your project!
Paul Gordon: Yes, I agree with you about people overlooking these things. It seems as if people forgot about this situation and they are not worrying about the future. This problem can be a big issue in the future and when it is, it will be too late to do anything about it. Thanks for your comments and good luck on your project!
Hoa Tran: I am glad that you think my project is wonderful. Yes, we do need fresh air to breathe, not polluted air. As I responded earlier, I do hope everyone helps with this major problem. If everyone puts a hand in this then it will help our society and city a lot. Everything that you do makes a big difference. Thank you very much for the comment and good luck on your project!
Spree Smith: I am really glad that you are more educated about pollution by just reading my entry. It was part of my goal to inform people about pollution. Yes, anything dealing with fire or causes smoke is pollution and can be harmful if in the homes. I do agree with you about people depleting the earth just to be comfortable. Most people do not really think about this problem. It seems like people forgot what pollution even is. Some people do have some bad habits, like throwing trash anywhere on the streets and think that someone is picking up after them. I appreciate your comment and good luck on your project!
Joseph Jones: Thank you for the compliment about educating on pollution. Maybe some people think that the small things they do is not affecting the world. Some people just throw trash out their window like it is nothing and expect people to pick up after them. I agree with you about the fliers. I did think about that but then thought about what you said so I did not plan on doing that anymore. It would be just a waste of money and time and more pollution added to our city. I would do a website on Myspace, but I am not good at all with computers. Again thank you for your comment and good luck on your project!
Lauren Black: I agree with you that carpooling and public transportation are the best ways to reduce pollution. Some people are embarrassed with riding the public transportation or something. This project is not really hard, it’s just that everyone needs to play a role and put their effort in it also. If everyone can help out then our world can be a much better place to live in.
Linh Han: I am glad that you like my project. This is a serious situation that everyone needs to realize about. Ever since the hurricane, our air quality has been pretty bad. I will surely inform people about their health issues and hopefully they can realize that this problem is getting worse everyday. Thank you for your comment and good luck on your project!
My favorite commandment from the Decalogue would be “Honor your father and mother.” This one is really tough for some kids these days. Most children these days have no respect towards their parents and apparently have no honor for them. I have had my days back then with my parents but time has changed. My past with my parents were pretty rough and I certainly will never forget it. I have come to realize that if you show respect and honor towards your parents, things can be a little easy for you. They would learn how to trust you more and will have no problem with what you want to do in life. I believe that parents were the ones who brought us in this world and should be well respected and honored. If it wasn’t for the parents, many of us would not make it this far in life. Most kids do not realize how important parents are today. If it wasn’t for their parents, they would have no clothes to wear everyday and will be starving on the streets. Parents work hard to support us and I think the best we can give back to them is respect.
Feminist criticism is a useful tool because it shows us how women back then were nothing and if you compare the women today, they can rule our world. Women were like slaves back then. Every woman had to obey their husband and do what ever it takes to make them happy. Women these days are totally the opposite of back then. Some women can make men do anything now and days. Our society these days even has men as housewives. Some men these days are doing house chores and laundry for a living and the wife taking care of the family. It’s unbelievable!
