Comment on my blog!!!!
1665 words by Janise Lampley
So, just like the other blogs from this semester, I will start this off like all of the others, with what I believe to be as my progress in this class. Well, I guess this class is going alright so far. I am still just getting a little tired of doing these blogs. Maybe if I did not wait until Friday night or Saturday morning before I go to work it would not be soo bad. But regardless, I know I need to get this done so I guess I just need to suck it up and keep the word counter counting until it reads at least 1950. Damn, only at 111 words. Well, maybe Dr. Homan will feel a little sympathy towards the class and not make us blog 2000 words each week. Or maybe he will at least cut it down to 1000. I do not know, but maybe he will change his mind about something one day soon. Since this is theology class, oh yeah, this is a Catholic university also, so I guess it is more than alright for me to say that I will pray about it. Well, this semester has been alright I guess. I am happy I only have one more paper to write about and then really just the final to worry about. That does not sound to bad, but I guess I will find out, huh? Anyway though this week the blog is supposed to be about more comments about the projects of my fellow classmates, so here it goes…
The first blog I commented on was written by a Mr. Jonathan Foster and here is what I had to say: Well I must say that this blog seems that you are holding in a lot of anger and aggression towards President Bush. I can agree with you on a lot of your views concerning him, but he is still the President of the United States and should be given some respect. I am not trying to criticize you, but you were being very negative. But everybody is entitled to their own opinion, right?!
I must say that this young man has very strong views concerning President George W. Bush. I think he needs to get over his anger because even though I do not like our president either, he is still our president, and will probably be re-elected into office this November. President Bush is not the best president, but I am sure we can all agree on this issue, although I fell he must still be treated with respect, at least every once in a while. But anyway, that is enough about this young man and his blog, so know I must go on… Well, let me check something, stuck at a mere 464 words. Oh well, now I am moving on…
The second blog I commented on was one written by a Ms. Kaywanda Prather and it was concerning teenagers needing a sex education class. I replied to her, I am sorry your project is not working like you planned it to, most things usually do not. I think it is pretty neat that people actually responded back to your letters. Hopefully your plan for your project will work because I know other plans for me have pretty much failed.
I think that her project was a very good idea because a lot of today’s young people are not educated enough on the important issues concerning sex and how to protect themselves. People need to really be educated about this important issue. Some people really do not know anything about this important issue. It all makes sense that she wants other people to be more informed about this issue as well as protecting themselves in the process. This is a very imperative issue that cannot go ignored. There are too many young girls that are giving birth and have given birth to children. These numbers are rising and need to be lowered dramatically.
The third blog I made a comment on was written by Teanakia DeOcampo and it was written concerning the issue of AIDS. This caught my eye because one of my three important issues regarding the world today was the spreading of the HIV/AIDS virus. I commented I agree with you on the fact that AIDs has become a very important issue in the world today and that it should not be ignored. Too many people have been hurt by this very important issue and it is very sad. Hopefully your project will work and some lives can be saved in the process.
I believe that is this project works out it will be a big success. The issue of AIDS is a very important issue and I am happy that she realizes this also. Hopefully we are not he only two people that realize the importance of this deadly virus and that it needs to be contained. Too many people have been and are currently being affected and infected by this deadly virus. There are various ways of contracting this disease, but all of these ways need to be eliminated. There are far too many people this virus is hurting, luckily I have not really been affected first hand by this virus.
Alright on to another blog by Whitney Hardy concerning her implementations on her project regarding a bible forum. I commented I am very proud of you because your project seems to be coming along very nicely. Hopefully everything will work out good for you in your future and I wish you much luck with it.
I think this project is a very cool project because many young people probably do not know much about the bible. Some people that are within my age range may not really be too interested in learning about the bible, but I guess if I had time it would be interesting to learn more about the bible. I would be more interested if it was all on my free will and not actually for a grade in my class. This is because there would not be any expectations brought upon me and I would really be able to focus on the material just to gain knowledge and not to earn a good grade without truly learning anything. This is what most people do, learn and know the information for the test and then kind of just forget all of it and it disappears. So, let me check and see how many words I have now, uum, well I know it is not 2000, so may like 1200, well, it is only 1103 words.
Brian Adams looked like another very good candidate to write a comment on so I did and his topic was about making people vote. This is a very good topic to write about because many young people do not really vote enough. Some people that do not vote want to complain about how the world is. I feel that people who do not vote should not really be entitled to voice their opinion about the issue. If you do not try to vote on anything regarding you and the world, then you have no right to argue or show disposition towards it. This is my comment on his blog from last week, I think that this issue is very important and many young people should be involved with voting. This issue is very important and should not be overlooked. I congratulate you for choosing this issue as one of your top three, so anyway, good luck and I hope everything goes well.
This blog was very important because voting is coming up in November and it will basically change the fate of the world. Anyway though, this issue seems to be ignored by many of today’s youth, as well as today’s older people. Even if somebody is voting for a person I may disapprove of, it is still ok because they were still able to voice their opinion. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and for this simple fact, they should voice their opinion and go out and vote. I think many people feel that their one vote does not matter and will not make a real difference, but all of the votes add up. The vote that they did not cast, could have been the deciding vote. Some people just do not value themselves as much as they should. This is another big problem in the world today. Other people just do not care about the world or their future, so they simply just choose not to vote. This is very sad, but also very true today in our society.
I must say that I am very upset and saddened that I do not have any comments concerning my blog from week nine on implementation. I have made comments on other people’s blogs and it would have been nice to have some comments on my own to read. I suppose my blog title did not catch anybody’s attention. But I must say that I am a little bitter because I felt that I should have at least one comment posted to my blog. I guess nobody cares about what I had to say in regards to my topic. Now I do not feel very important because nobody left me a comment. I wonder if anybody even read my blog, probably not besides Dr. Homan, if he even read them yet. I wonder if he has, because if so, he has not even left me a comment so I will feel even worse. Oh well I guess that is just life for you and I will be alright even though I have no comments for my blog. Nobody loves me and this really hurt my feelings. I guess I just need to suck it up and then I will be alright. All by myself, with nobody to love me, but it will be alright. I guess because I still love me!!!
