Hello Quita,
It’s very interesting to find out that you want to help our children with values. I think it’s very admirable of you to want to do so. I’m very disappointed with the caretakers of the children because not only do they play a role in teaching these kids academics but they’re there to also make them into better people. That alone includes teaching them the right way to behave in public, the correct way in which you address elders, the way to speak to elders and others, etc. I also know of a school near home that takes pride in molding their children. They taught the children ethics because it was a bit obvious that they weren’t receiving the proper tools of communication at home. I believe that if they teach these children good manners and better ways of communication, then their jobs will be much easier. I don’t understand why it isn’t implemented in the disciplinary procedure.
I’m glad to hear that you refuse to give up. It doesn’t look so bleak in my eyes because I think what you’re doing is quite possible. Keep nagging those teachers and caretakers, they’ll come around. I think someone will eventually respond to you, good luck!
