Are Patriarchs and matriarchs good role models?
In my personal opinion patriarchs are and they are not good role models. The definition of a patriarch is a man that rules a family, clan, or tribe. I believe that it easier for one person to rule rather that more than one. For example what that person says goes, there is sell confusion. Some people may think that is not fair, but most things are not fair. At Xavier University we have a Patriarch. The president of the school is a patriarch. The Unites States has a patriarch. My house also has a patriarch as well as a Matriarch. What are Matriarchs? Matriarchs are also good role models. Now day’s matriarchs are in control. Matriarchs are women that rule a family, clan, or tribe. They are women who dominate a group or activity. A highly respected who man that is in authority. She also maybe called a female ruler. In today’s society patriarchs are more commonly known because they so many single woman raining families. So I really defiantly think matriarchs are good role models. In some cases they are the only role model. Matriarch a woman in total control. The both of the Patriarchs as well as Matriarchs are good role models as long as they are doing positive things. As long as they are making the right decisions in what has to be done and what should be done. In the examples that were listed above all the Patriarchs are making good decisions. Some Matriarchs that I know that are making good decision are three (3) Council Woman for the city Of New Orleans. Councilwoman Stacy Head the council member for district B. The Council woman for district D, which is Councilwoman Cynthia Hedge-Morrell. As well as the Council person for district E, which is council woman Cynthia Willard-Lewis. All of the these woman are matriarchs who have control over most situations and are also good role models as well as good leaders. In some cases these woman have total control over the council districts. There also some patriarchs in the city council of New Orleans. Of all of the commandments from the Decalogue I did not have a favorite.
