Dear Mr. Mayor,

I am a student at Xavier University. As a part of one of my many projects that I must complete for an Intro to biblical studies class, I must write a letter to you and three of your associate’s discussion some problems that I see are wrong with the city today. The problems that I would like to complain about is the lack of activity that we have for the youth in our city. I would like for you and members of the city council to implement more after school programs for our youth. I strongly believe that Most of the crimes that are being committed are being done by the youth of our city. The reason for this is because they have none thing to keep them out of trouble. Our laws are not strict enough and our kids walk all over the laws. I believe that if some more activities were there for our kids problems would decreases and we a community would see it and as well as the entire world. Ours kids today are lost, they have very little guidance, and structure, they need positive role models to guide them in the right direction. Mr. Mayor I have friend that have been killed for stupid reasons. They began committing crimes at young ages simply because no one cared and hey had none thing to do. My brother and I had good role models and things to do after school. We ha people who cared about us, so he and I turned out to be fairly good children, but it is quit sad to say that this is not the case for most. I would like you and your associates to please do dome thing to help with this problem. We have developed more that a few after school programs that have been developed, but we need more. We need more help as well and you Mr. Mayor are were the help should begin.
