Week 14

Christ’s return is unknown and kept that way because people would live like hell right up until that last minute and repent and change to God. Also the bible says that Christ will return like a thief in the night. A robber comes and takes what he wants when you are there and you can stop them because they are out in the open, but a thief watches you and strikes without warning. In revelations the bible says that we shall know the coming of the Lord is near by the signs that was given. It says when you see the signs that was given look up for thy redemption draweth nigh. Also the Bible says that in the day of Jesus return man shall be living as in the days of Noah. During the time of Noah people were eating, drinking, artying, and having no regard for God, they were just living which made God hate the day that He made man. We as a human race are living like the days of Noah now and getting worse everyday. Also we are putting God out of the picture as much as we can daily, we started by kicking him out of the schools, then taking him from the court rooms the question is what is next. Some of the signs were earthquakes in diverse places, islands moving out of their places, fire falling from heaven, wars and rumors of wars, Mountians moving out of their places. The moon turning into blood, and the sun being darkend. Many of these signs have taken place already and are still very possible that they can happen tomorrow. They don’t actually happen in the fashion that they are described like the moon inot blood, but they are taking about a luner eclipse and with the sun a solar eclipse. With the last major hurricane that took place when the satalites took a picture it showed that a few inslands near by had moved about twenty feet. also they rarely have earthquakes in that area so that is two signs with one natural disaster. We never had a meteor to affect the earth yet but we have had close calls. For someone to say that the Bible is foolish that would be crazy because how can someone two thousand years earlier predict what is going on today. Also wars and rumors of Wars, we had World War I and II and now we are at war with Iraq. If these signs don’t mean anything then i don’t know what will. At my local church we don’t know what tomorrow holds, death can happen or Christ can come back that is a very close possibility. The predictions that people give are false because the bible says no man knows, not even the angels. But God never leaves his people in the dark that is why he left signs for us to identify with. Most peole believe that it is just science but the bible says when you hear the voice of God harden not your heart meaning don’t be foolish and think that its not true because if it does happen tomorrow you will be in a whole lot of trouble. I am a christian and i feel that the rapture might happen during my lifetime, but i know that even if it doesn’t i still have to life like the next minute could be my last. To me death is just like christ’s second coming no one knows when it will come all you can do is be ready spiritualy. In the movie that we watched Jeremiah tired to let the King know that God was mad with them and judgement was coming throught the babylonians. The movie was about Jeremiah’s struggle to save Israel and how he tried to tell the King that he was living in sin but he wouldn’t listen. Just as God judged Israel every time they committed sin against him, so shall he judge us. The only thing that is different , the Israelites are God’s chosen people we are being allowed to have a chance at salvation, and if we don’t take it then death and destruction will be on our heads for all eternity. Once Jesus returns he will be dealing again with the Jews. The movie was good the only thing is that they edited the movie by adding a love story to the plot which wasn’t very good. Other than that the menaing was carried out and the description of what happened was good.
After doing all these bloggs i feel that i should get a decent grade of a B. The reason that i chose a B, is because i completed all the required bloggs and the number of words. Also all the other students that commented on my project agreed that i made a contribution to society and made a difference for the better. Some people think that they should get an A, but i don’t desreve one because i didn’t post my bloggs every week. Even though i didn’t do the blogs every saturday, i still contributed to my project and worked hard at achieving my goal of helping those in need. Also i got others to help with the project. Its obvious I understood all the lectures and reading because i was the main one answering all the questions in class. I see my only mistake is that I waited too long to complete all the required blogs. My project was real and i worked hard with it, the grade is the reason that i started working on this project, but know the grade really doesn’t affect my project because I feel that I got more from this than just a grade. I also blogged the required thousand words per week and my writings were informative. I am happy that I was able to implement a plan and carry it out as much as I could this taught me a lot and hopefully i can continue next semester.
