There are some similarities in the Enuma Elish creation myth and between the first books of the Bible Genesis. The amin similarities were about how it was written in seven day same as the bible and another similar story is how Apsu wants to kill all the children because of noise and in the bible God want to flood all the people. Many kings prefer creation stories eliminate all foolishness. I feel that this is a direct correlation to with biblical stories because many of these stories were exaggerated. During biblical times there were a lot of things that were in between fact and fiction. But from all fictions or stories some truth is held. The story of Gilgamesh is kind of the same as the bible because of that flood that lasted for forty days and forty nights. There is also an arc in Gilgamesh with animals and a man who built the boat with his bare hands. The Tiglath Pleser principle is when a story is overly exaggerated. Tiglath Pileser was the King of Assyria who went to war. In the story of his victory, exaggeration was highly evident, as it is told that the opposing army had 5 kings and 20,000 troops, which Pileser defeated. It says that he killed 14,000 of the troops, and the other 6000 were enslaved. This principle just says how when a story of victory is told, it is usually exaggerated.
