Sexuality in the Classroom
Flirting or Hurting?

This workshop will cover a number of different permutations of sexuality in the classroom, and how it may help or hinder the learning process. We will stay away from the academic aspect of teaching sexuality in class, but rather focus on the more unspoken dynamics of sexuality in the academic environment: student-student interactions, student-teacher interactions, harassment, and ethical considerations, both of Xavier University and other universities. It is hoped that this workshop will be less didactic (other than some of the fascinating statistics), but more of an open discussion of this issue and the concerns that faculty might have.
