Curriculum Conversation

We began our discussion of the Core Curriculum Proposal at the last College Assembly and the discussion has continued on BlackBoard. Given that this issue is central to our teaching and our students, CAT would like to facilitate the on-going faculty conversation. Therefore we are sponsoring two brown bag discussions on the common curriculum. There will be no presentation and no agenda, and these will not be hosted by the proposal committee. We are simply providing a neutral space where concerned faculty can express their views face-to-face. This is intended to augment the BlackBoard discussions. It is our hope at CAT that these brown bags will enhance the conversation as we grapple with what is best for our students, and we encourage all departments to participate.
