Faculty Communities of Teaching Scholars FaCTS Proposal Writing

Faculty Communities of Teaching Scholars (FaCTS), CAT's Mellon Foundation funded initiative, will allow faculty to develop and implement innovative, will allow faculty to develop and implement innovative curricular and/or pedagogical projects over the course of an academic year. Faculty participants will be funded to participate in the FaCTS Summer Seminar, a four-day, intensive workshop that will be tailored around an annual theme (our theme this year is Xavier as a Site of Global Citizenship). In addition to the coverage of the theme itself, the seminar will include sessions on innovations in pedagogy and instructional technology, Xavier's mission, and student engagement.
