Beyond Personal Anecdotes Regarding Classroom Management
What does the SoTL Literature Have to Say?

Dealing with student incivility and disruptive behaviors in the classroom can be difficult. As faculty, this is an area in which we receive little formal training, yet it is our responsibility to attend to classroom management issues so that we maintain effective learning environments. In this workshop, we will explore the research in this area and best practices for creating environments that promote civility and respect.

-Discover what the scholarship of teaching and learning has to say about this issue

-Learn best practices in classroom management

-Share your own success stories
