Blackboard: Unleashing Its Power in the Classroom
Assessments (Tests and Surveys)

Blackboard is a powerful tool for the classroom. This Blackboard workshop will show you how to convert exams currently in MS Word format into a format that you can upload directly into Blackboard.

Respondus is a tool for creating and managing exams that can be published directly into Blackboard. In this workshop two Xavier faculty members will showcase how they use Respondus software and the LockDown Browser for in- and out-of-class assessments AND surveys, what kind of options they have available to them, and what it takes to put it together. They will also discuss what they have done to try to keep the students honest.
